“Arudha Lagna” is mentioned in Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra. Jaimini never uses the words “Arudha Lagna” rather he uses “Pada”. Arudha means “image” in Sanskrit, so Arudha Lagna is the image that arises from the Ascendant. Some people call the Pada the Arudha Lagna. It is the end or result of your life but it is also a component of your identity, it is what you are moving towards as you live. The Pada, in Jaimini Astrology, means “foot”. To use this technique, it is necessary to identify the Pada. These writing yogas do show the native has writing ability and if they will write anything that is seen by others, such as a blog, screenplay, novel, video game, technical manual, etc. Those things depend upon certain Jaimini Raj Yogas. These yogas do not identify how successful the native will be, if they will be famous, if they can make a living by writing or if they will become wealthy by writing. In Jaimini Astrology, certain writing yogas or combinations exist that will indicate the native will be an author.
